Wires can receive using standard serial ports, connections over the Internet, from email
accounts, and from 3rd party file download software.
Almost 40 pre-configured wire services are ready to be installed at the click of a button
– it’s that easy!
In the unlikely event that you need to connect to a wire service that we have not
already configured, we will add it within a day or two.
NewsBoss users receive immediate notification when new stories arrive.
This feature is fully configurable at a site and user level, so you can be sure
whoever is on duty will be notified when important stories arrive.
Users can customise their own notifications according to their role in the newsroom
– that’s safety and flexibility!

using standard serial ports, the Internet, direct file transfer, or using FTP
